Bio
Hailing from London, alt-rock outfit Minimum Wage offer a fresh take on the eclectic rock scene of the 2000s. Heavily influenced by Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Green Day and countless others, their diverse discography ranges from soaring acoustic ballads to lights-out, unapologetic punk and heavy rock, sometimes with very little warning.
Their refreshing take on guitar-music took the band to the Semi-Finals of the Isle of Wight Festival: New Blood competition, as well as on their first UK tour which culminated in their biggest headline show to date: selling out the Half Moon, Putney. 2024 also saw them release their first single “Under The Influence” as a band.
2025 promises to be even more exciting as the band release their debut album “Modern Misery”, make their first UK festival appearances and hit the road again, touring the UK in the autumn.
Make no mistakes, Minimum Wage are not to be slept on. They are making a lot of noise in the London music scene and it is becoming hard not to take notice.
